Freazy

Freazy is a framework and content management system which has been developed in PHP5 and Javascript.

What is the idea behind it?

It is suitable for use as a web portal or a small web site and even as a base for social networks. It is based on the idea that the world is multilingual and therefore every object in the system has to be able to be translated into any existing language and still must be easily manageable.

The goal is to enable users without programming skills to intuitively create their own content and integrate it into their websites without further assistance.

History

Freazy is being developed since 2006. First, it started as a hobby in order to get in touch with other programming languages. After some thinking and pondering, the immense potential became clear and took the implementation to a higher level.

Compared to existing content management systems, we came to the conclusion that there still is no system which empowers the user to manage the content in a way the world itself is working - with the strict aspect of handling languages.

Though there is already a huge list of features, new functionality - be it modules, libraries or widgets - is being added every week in order to keep up with the technological flow.
